Plantago ovata husks

Description: Plantago ovata is a plant originating from India and which is mainly cultivated there. It reaches an average of 25 – 40 cm in height. Its white flowers are collected in a cylindrical ears. Shells of its seeds are used e.g. to thicken dishes.

Usage: 1-2 teaspoons of Plantago ovata husks pour with a glass of warm water, afterwards set it aside for 20 minutes. During consumption of the husks it is advisable to drink an additional 2 liters of water per day. The product is not intended for infants, small children and people with gastrointestinal problems – bowel obstruction. Plantago ovata husks can be combined in a ratio 1:4 with Plantago Psyllium seeds.
